Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge

Parents and Students – A reminder of the informational flyer that recently came home about Nolan’s participation in the Scholastic Read for the Record Summer Reading Challenge. Please take a few moments to visit www.scholastic.com/summer and go to the Get Started tab in the purple KIDS area on the left side of the webpage to register your students. From now through the month of August, you and your students will be able to log into the site to log minutes read by your student or to your student. During this year’s book fair, our Nolan students met the challenge of reading over 100,000 minutes so we are excited to see how many minutes of summer reading can be logged over the next few months. The top readers from each grade level will be recognized when we return to school, so be sure to register and log your minutes to help Nolan Read for the Record!

Summer Childcare

A reminder that the SACC summer childcare site will be located at Thrasher this summer. For additional information, please contact our SACC director, Mrs. Lisa Wofford.
